Our original Wearstuds are our core business. They are timeless, versatile and proven extremely competitive and relevant for over 20 years in high-end mining, including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Alcoa.

By welding a pattern of wear resistant studs onto exposed metal surfaces, a barrier between the wear surface and the material being worked is created. This results in the wear resistant studs being sacrificially worn down before the exposed surface of the working equipment is damaged. Material embedded in the spaces between the wear resistant studs, or the Rock Box, act as an additional protective barrier against wear. The application of Wearstuds maximise efficiency and productivity.

Our Wearstuds can be applied four times faster and last three to ten times longer than wear-plates or hardfacing. By virtue of speed and ease of application, downtime is lessened. Wearstud application also dramatically reduces dead weight by eliminating the use of wear plates.
